  • Michael Bailey, DVM

    Veterinarian, Owner
    Dr. Michael Bailey is a 1998 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He grew up in the small town of Wauchula Florida. Dr. Bailey first received his bachelor's degree in Zoology at Auburn University in Alabama. He decided to stay for four more football seasons and attended Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. While in college Dr. Bailey met his wife, Dana. He has previously worked in Destin, Florida and Orlando, Florida as a veterinarian. In 2002 Dr. Bailey became the owner of Woodland Animal Clinic in DeLand, Florida and in 2005 he became the owner of a second practice Beachwood Animal Clinic in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Dr. Bailey is also very well known for his expertise with French and English Bulldogs.

    Dr. Bailey is very involved with the community and is a member of The Rotary Club of downtown DeLand. He enjoys the outdoors, boating, coaching his sons football team, and fishing with his daughter.

    Dr. Bailey has two playful cats and a lovable Goldendoodle named Abby.
  • Rebekah Arnold

    Practice Manager

    Our practice manager, Rebekah, has worked within our group for 10 years.  She has worked in veterinary medicine since 2000.  Her favorite aspects of working at Volusia Woods Animal Clinic include meeting with new clients and patients, educating clients about their pet’s conditions, and helping to serve her community.  In her spare time, Rebekah enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and stepdaughter.  She also loves to cook, surf, read, and likes to live the beach life!  Rebekah’s furry family consists of Aubrey and Lola which are rescues, and Mr. Binx.

  • Dr. Andrea James, DVM

    Andrea James graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2013. Dr. James has a lifetime love for horses as well as any other animal that crosses her path....from birds, frogs to kittens and horses. She had a variety of interests in the veterinary industry and currently works with the Flagler Humane Society. Her husband, Stuart James, is also a local veterinarian as well. They have three dogs , a few cats, a horse and a revolving door for foster cats from the shelter. She is excited to work with Volusia Woods Animal Clinic providing quality care for your furry family

  • Teresa Kraft

    Assistant Manager/ Lead Veterinary Technician

    Teresa brings with her 9 years of experience. Helping animals has always been her passion. She truly enjoys working with animals everyday. Teresa has 2 dogs Scrappy and Toby, and a cat named Josie.When Teresa is not at work her time is spent with her wonderful husband Jeff and amazing little boy Bradley.

  • Sandy Willard


    Sandy is bringing to our practice her experience from our sister clinic Woodland Animal Hospital in Deland. Sandy has worked at Woodland Animal Clinic since January 1990! After happily working there for 23 years her worth is invaluable to us here at Volusia Woods. Sandy originally started working as a veterinary assistant and then decided to move to the receptionist position. She enjoys welcoming clients as well as their furry family members to our practice. Sandy, and her husband Scott, have a daughter Brandi and an adorable grandson Dominic. They have 12 goats, 2 cats, and a Flat Coated Retriever mix named “Mia” on their farm. Sandy adopted Mia from a client who is involved in an animal rescue group. In her spare time she enjoys spending quality with her family, horseback riding, reading, and antique shopping.
